Check an old website’s archive history
Paste a website address to see whether the Internet Archive holds a copy, when it was last saved, and where to look at its backlinks.
What this tool does and does not tell you
It tells you whether the Internet Archive holds a copy of the address. It cannot tell you whether the site is live today, because browsers do not let a page test other websites. To judge that, follow our guide on how to check if a website is really gone. Your address is sent to the Internet Archive to run the lookup and is not stored by us.
